Dior PA is a 15.2H, AHA Sweepstakes Nominated purebred Arabian gelding. Dior is a long legged and sleek looking gelding with a strong topline, powerful hindend, prominent withers and deep heart girth. He has incredible extention at the trot and covers the ground with ease. He has an uphill build and moves freely at the shoulder. He has 7 3/4” cannons, a resting heart rate of 32.
Dior has been under saddle for the past year and was professionally trained by Pegasus Arabians, who own Dior’s sire; Armani FC, 3 time National Champion. He has very smooth and comfortable gaits with just the right extension and absolutely incredible ground covering trot. He moves with effortless ease in all gaits.
With his level of training, he has the advantage out on the trails with being light and supple in the bridle/bosal, responsive to leg and seat cues, and balanced in any gait working off his hindend. He stands quietly for mounting and dismounting. Can be ridden anywhere alone or in a group. He’s extremely well behaved on the ground and under saddle. He understands his rider is in charge and waits for direction.
Dior is a coming 5 year old that has a very promising career ahead of him. He could easily be shown at the top level in Hunter or Western Pleasure or dressage while still competing and finishing in the top 10 at an endurance ride. Dior will be as diversified as you want him to be. This is a top notch high quality Arabian!
Dior is currently being conditioned and will be ready to start his endurance career with the 2008 season. He is suitable for all levels of riders, but would be best suited for intermediate and up level of rider who can bring him along properly.
