Ruqaya is a beautiful typey purebred Arabian mare. She is a dark chestnut with a lighter mane and tail. She has recently finished 90 days of professional training under saddle and I will continue to ride and train her until she sells. She is extremely willing and eager to please her rider. She has comfortable gaits, a great walk and nice extended trot.
Ruquya is straight Egyptian – Al Khamsa. Her sire is AK Shabah. His sire line is Saklawi I through Moniet El Sharaf and his strain is Dahman Shawan through the mare *Bint Bint Sabbah. AK Shabah belongs to the rare breeding group of Heirloom / El Deere, tracing to the oldest Egyptian blood of Egypt I / Blunt with the addition of the Al Khamsa foundation horse El Deere (INS).
Ruguya’s dam is RWW Ruqa, straight Egyptian Al Khamsa. Her sire line is Saklawi I though Ansata Abbas Pasha and her strain is Kuhayla Rodania through Nazeera.
Rugaya is a very well bred mare that would be a great asset to a straight Egyptian breeding program. She is way under priced for her quality and breeding. My loss is your gain.
