2008 National Horse Trials - Colorado Horse Park - Oct. 5, 2008
Placed 2nd out of 26 in the Beginner Novice Division
Sweepstakes nominated. Extremely talented and athletic Desperado V daughter. She has proven herself as a reining horse, reined cow horse, working cow horse and most recently as an eventing horse this summer carrying a junior rider. She is very quick and light on her feet, fast foot speed in her spins, and has a good solid stop. She has eye catching appeal and is a very nice mover. She’s easy to rate her speed and guides nicely between your reins and is very light off your leg. She knows her job and likes to be in the show ring. With her level of training she has the ability and willingness to go in any direction, whether is be as a reiner, jumper, or dressage. She is incredibly versatile and enjoys new and different challenges. She has been used as a trail horse, pack horse, pony horse, completed several endurance rides. Her bloodlines and conformation also make her an excellent broodmare candidate.
Placed 12th out of 29 in Reining Limit Horse at the 2007 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show.
Reserve Champion in reining at the 2007 CAHC Spring Show in Denver, CO.
Numerous wins and always in the ribbons at local Colorado ranch horse versatility shows and open shows in reining, reined cow horse classes, working cow horse classes, and of course western pleasure.
Most recently this summer she has been shown by a 12 yr. old girl competing in eventing. She is being shown in at the beginner novice level, schooling 2nd level dressage, and jumping 2’6” – 3’ in stadium and cross country. She is bold over the fences, does water and coffin jumps, oxers, and doesn’t refuse any fence. Best of all, she is very controllable and safe mount. Her next show is at High Prairie - Colorado Horse Park at the Horse Trials in Parker, CO in October 2008.
