WINTER SPECIAL!!!  Lainey is a silver dapple Trakehner / Welsh pony cross.  Yes, you are reading this correctly.  To my surprise, this is a thing and it's called a Welsh Sport Horse.  More common in the UK but there are breeders here in the US.   She came to be unhandled and untouched.  It took a bit to convince her that I am not a threat.  She is smart as a whip which leaves no room for making any mistakes with her.  She has come around nicely though.  I will continue to work with her this winter.  She has nice straight legs and good feet.  Like most ponies, I think she is going to be one tough cookie!!
