Val has been used as a pack horse, working cow horse and "pony" horse teaching a foal to lead. I strongly believe that the most important attribute a stallion can have is a good temperament. If he can't live among other horses; whether it be geldings, mares or foals then I wouldn't keep him a stallion. Val was shown as a 2 year old in the Sporthorse In Hand Stallion class placing 3rd against mature stallions.
 
Valerio has been the AERC Jim Jones Stallion Award winner for the past four years (2024, 2023, 2022, 2021) as well as the AERC National Mileage Champion in 2023.
 
 Val also competed at the 2022 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show in Arabian Ranch Riding classes.  While we didn't place, it was great experience and a discipline we both enjoyed, although I think he would prefer to do cattle work instead.   In 2021, he placed Top 10 at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show  in the Sport Horse Under Saddle Hunter Type AATR. He is available for AI (frozen semen) only.  Val is tested 4 panel clear, not a carrier for CA, LFS, SCID, OAAM1.  He is EE, homozygous black and aa for Agouti, black based horse.  He also tested T/T - great stamina in the MSTN tesing for performance predictor for speed and distance.
